Do you know any simple exercise or yoga practice which makes you more healthier? The easier yet effective exercises are proven methods to stay fit. Without any physical pain or risk you can practice these exercises. One of these is ‘Tree pose’.
Procedure of Tree Pose:
- Step 1: Stand straight with feet together and arms at your side
- Step 2: Shift your whole weight to the left leg. Bring your right leg up, with the help of the hand. Make sure that your foot is against your inner thigh of the left leg. If you are unable to keep up your balance doing this, simply bring the foot down to your ankle.
- Step 3: Bring your arms to the prayer position i.e, keep your hands in front of your chest with pointing your thumbs inward. If you want, you can bring your hands up and together over your head. You can repeat raising other leg.
Note:
- Don’t put your foot on the knee, just put your foot above or below the knee. It makes you more stable.
- Raise each leg for 30 – 45 seconds at first, then increase it to a minute or more, if you can.
