Infact, Yoga even has an entire separate branch devoted to Food Yoga or Anna Yoga. Yogic Food philosophy is simple – Eat balanced whole foods.

Whole Foods

Whole foods are those foods that are closest to their simple natural state. They are no free from all sorts of processing additives and subtractions.

Maintaining a balanced diet comprising of whole foods ensures that the faculties of human digestion work smoothly. The Absorption, Assimilation and elimination work in tandem with each other.

Synthetic and Processed foods disrupt the balance and co-ordination of these digestive processes and create problems in digestion. Indigestion can further lead to physical and psychological problems.
