Yogic Diet for Arthritis

The Yogic Diet looks to help against Arthritis by substituting many unhealthy things from our relationship by healthier alternatives. Ayurveda lays heavy stress on proper diet comprising of adequate whole foods. It prescribes the following diet for sufferers of Arthritis.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast should be taken strictly between 7am to 9am. You should include


LUNCH and DINNER

Lunch should be done between 12-2pm and dinner should be between 6-8 pm.

Your meal should comprise of:

SNACK
You can also include an afternoon snack with Tea or Coffee. You can take fresh fruits or cake or biscuits.

What to Avoid
People suffering from Arthritis should stop taking bananas and yogurt. They should restrict their intake of coffee, tea, aerated drinks and alcohol.

What to Take
Arthritis sufferers should eat about four times a day. It is beneficial to include foods like grapes, asparagus, cucumber, celery juice, Alfalfa, honey with lemon in lukewarm water.

The best way to defeat Arthritis is to tackle it in the very early stages. As Arthritis gets very difficult to treat when it reaches the chronic stages. Proper diet and regular yoga has proved to be effective in curing Arthritis in its initial stages.

    You must be crazy to suggest eliminating yogurt from one’s diet when that is the one thing that can eliminate inflammation in the joints. I could list dozens of sites to support this besides my own personal experience but I will just suggest that you “google” the facts about yogurt and arthitis. It is the reason I am still walking today.

    I find it suprising that one should not to eatbananas nor youghurt when one has osteo atritis. I sthere a site that I could find more information of this?
